The centre of Canto Fiorito’s projects is the musical production of the first half of the XVII century in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The Italian masters that lived in the region and the local composers, strongly influenced by them, represent the core of the ensemble’s musical activities.

Nevertheless, considering the wide-ranging formation and musical experience of its artistic leader, Canto Fiorito plunged as well into the renaissance polyphony and the late medieval style, always aiming for the highest level of historical knowledge allied with a sparkling performance.
